I have been working in software development for nearly two decades, dedicating a significant part of my career to building OrthoGraph technology. My first major task was to completely recreate the then Windows Mobile–based application on the iOS platform using Objective-C and Swift. The goal was not only to port the system, but to design a user experience that fully leveraged the power and convenience of the iPad – this became a defining milestone in the evolution of the system.
Since then, the graphical technology has been built on Unity 3D, where I continue to play a key role in development. My work includes complex mathematical models, backend systems handling large volumes of data, hardware-level integrations, and the processing of specialized formats. These include, among others, the full implementation of DXF and IFC processing, the integration of Leica, BOSCH and Stabila distance meters, panorama and thermal cameras, NFC and RFID readers, as well as optimizing critical database processes.
My focus is always on creating stable, predictable, and long-term maintainable solutions.
I am responsible for the user experience and operational stability of the OrthoGraph mobile application. My goal is to ensure the system is smooth and straightforward to use: I work on designing intuitive interfaces, eliminating unnecessary steps, and continuously optimizing performance.
The development of server communication is also part of my responsibilities. Ensuring reliable, lossless data exchange and minimizing data traffic is essential for me, as these significantly contribute to fast and stable operation.
When planning new features, I work closely with the company’s chief architect to achieve the best possible technological and usability solutions.
My experience in Unity 3D, C#, and C++ allows me to work confidently on tasks ranging from mobile applications to complex graphical systems, including game development.
I joined the OrthoGraph team with one and a half decades of system administration experience, having supported the internal IT processes and product support of an enterprise for many years. My current responsibilities include ensuring that our developments operate reliably, predictably, and in line with real-world usage scenarios.
I test features with patience and meticulous thoroughness – whether they are partial implementations or final solutions. Beyond technical requirements, I always analyse user interactions as well, enabling me to provide precise, practical feedback to developers and designers. This directly contributes to fast, efficient development cycles and a smooth user experience.
My native-level English proficiency also makes me responsible for handling written user and customer inquiries. I focus on clear, solution-oriented communication, responding patiently and understandably to all incoming questions – including those from any of OrthoGraph’s more than 150,000 users.
